Cuisine
“To the heart through the stomach” – our cooks are very much familiar with this saying and know their way to our guests’ hearts. “Just like your mother’s” soups, homemade pierogi with various kinds of filling wrapped in fine dough, fried or baked fish fresh from the port, aromatic cold cuts and bread from the best suppliers, healthy and fresh vegetables, homemade cakes, colourful desserts for kids – these are just some of your favourite dishes that we prepare and serve in our complex.
Staying with us means you will get full board catering with delicious food. Upon request we can also prepare special diets: diabetic, light, gluten-free and vegetarian. If you are interested in any such diet, please let us know when booking your stay.
Dining room
The centrally located dining room is on the ground floor of the main building. It is here that we take care every day to restore your strength and satisfy your palate by offering delicious homemade Polish dishes prepared by our team of cooks from carefully selected ingredients delivered by local suppliers.
Breakfasts and suppers are served as a buffet. We want to make them as varied as possible, offering a selection of cold and hot meals, cheeses, cottage cheese, cold cuts, hot sausages, fresh vegetables, scrambled eggs as well as different kinds of bread and drinks. Sweet breakfast enthusiasts should try our fruit jams, yoghurts, muesli and the delicious Polish honey.
Lunches are served at the table. They consist of soup, main course and dessert. Our cuisine is very much loved and our pierogi are probably the best in Kołobrzeg. The day’s menu is displayed at the entrance to the dining room.
The way meals are served may be different due to special sanitary requirements.
Café
Visit our café located on the first floor of the main building above the dining room. It’s a perfect place to stop for a minute over a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade cake in order to gather your thoughts, sift through photographs, write a memoir entry or a message to your loved ones on one of our postcards or just talk to a friend from a neighbouring pavilion. Our café serves different types of espresso coffee made of freshly ground beans, teas, salty and sweet snacks as well as spirits, colourful drinks and local beer.
You can read a book in Polish from a wide selection available to all guests in the library or play pool using our billiard table.
In the evenings we hold dance parties or stage performances by local artists.
Wi-Fi access is free of charge throughout the entire complex including in the dining room and café.
Summer café terrace
Combining open air relaxation with a desire for a sweet treat, the café terrace is the favourite place among our guests. Cool drinks, ice cream desserts and other café specialties are within your reach out in the sun or in the shade of an umbrella. In the evenings, the terrace is a venue of small-scale outdoor events – feasts with live music and homemade bread with lard and pickled cucumbers or barbeque get-togethers.
We have implemented the HACCP System and the Food Safety Management System based on the international standard ISO 22000:2005, which guarantees top quality of our meals and ensures high hygienic standards of preparing and serving food.
The implemented systems are regularly monitored and certified by professional auditors from Bureau Veritas, an external, independent, international certifying body.
